Born on December 6, 1945, in Greenville, South Carolina, Allen was a beacon of joy and laughter, illuminating the lives of everyone he encountered with his amazing sense of humor and razor-sharp wit.

Allen dedicated four years to the United States Air Force, serving his country with pride and commitment. This spirit of service carried into his everyday life, as he was always willing to lend a hand to those in need, embodying the true essence of friendship and compassion. Allen's generosity knew no bounds, and he took pride in his numerous donations to charities that made a difference in the lives of others. A devoted family man, Allen is survived by his beloved wife, Kathryn Ann Taylor. Together they raised two wonderful daughters, Phadrhea LaPierre and Tara Taylor, who brought him immense pride and joy. He welcomed son-in-law Chuck LaPierre into the family with open arms, and his love extended to his two granddaughters, Rianna Turnage and Tara Turnage, with whom he forged special bonds filled with laughter and learning.

Allen shared a close relationship with his brother, David Taylor, standing as a pillar of support for one another throughout their lives. He will also be warmly remembered by friends and family for his passion for fishing, often seen casting his net or using a cane fishing pole. An especially creative soul, Allen made handmade custom canes that not only showcased his craftsmanship but also became treasured gifts for many.

He is lovingly remembered by his family as someone who loved with his whole heart, enriched their lives with his vibrant personality, and flourished even in life's simplest moments. The loss of Allen Jerome Taylor will be deeply felt, as his spirit continues to inspire all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Preceding him in death are his father, James Taylor, his mother, Martha Taylor, his sister, Evelyn Temples, and brothers, Keith and John Taylor. May they all find peace together in eternal rest.
