Barbara Jean Porter

Barbara Porter, 70, of Pensacola Florida died at West Florida Hospital January 22nd after a valiant battle with Cancer. She passed peacefully with her children by her side.

Born in Medford Massachusetts to Robert and Louise Porter, Barbara spent most of her life in the Boston area. She held several careers but took pride in her work as an esthetician. Barbara took the most pride in maintaining a home and raising her children. Later in life she relocated to Portland Oregon for a decade to be with her family and eventually retired in Gulf Breeze Florida. She enjoyed time on the beach and relaxation with music and entertainment.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Elkins; her son Kenneth Dyer; her two grandchildren Marquez and Shawn Elkins; her Brothers Robert and Donald Porter; and sisters Carole Catino and Kathleen Healey
