Betrina Renee Abels (Boyington), 59, of Bay Minette, Alabama, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025, at West Florida Hospice. She was born on July 28, 1966, in Mobile, Alabama, to Wilburn and Betty Gail Boyington. Betrina’s life, while not without its challenges, was filled with the profound love of her family and those closest to her.

Betrina's spirit was unique and vibrant, characterized by her remarkable resilience. She made a lasting impression on everyone around her, often leaving behind a sparkle of joy and warmth. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Tiffany Ray (Lucas); her cherished sons, Weston Gill and Devin Abels; her devoted brother, Eric Boyington; and her precious grandchildren, Lakelon Ray and Eastlon Ray. She will be fondly remembered by her niece, Tuesday Boyington, and her close friend, Lance Van Wynen.

Though her journey was not always easy, it was rich with love and deep connections, and Betrina's memory will forever live in the hearts of her family. They will cherish both the love they shared and the invaluable lessons learned along the way from this remarkable woman. May she now find the peace and rest that she so greatly deserves.

 A private memorial will be held at West Florida Funeral Home to honor her life.
