Brenda Sue Starr, born on December 29, 1944, in Pensacola, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025, in her hometown, surrounded by the compassionate care of her grandson, Jesse and hospice. She lived a life rich in love, family, and cherished memories, leaving behind an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Brenda's journey began in Pensacola, where she was born to her loving parents, Lottie Mae Smith and Curtis Arlin White. Her warmth and affection for her family were evident throughout her life. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. Her enduring spirit will forever resonate with her loved ones.

Brenda had one son, Jesse Connor. She also had 2 grandchildren: Jesse (Kristina) Connor and Nikki Connor. She leaves behind many grandchildren, whom she loved endlessly.

Brenda's family circle expanded to include significant other Travis Fauntleroy, with whom she shared a deep and meaningful connection. Additionally, she leaves behind her half-sister, Dale (John) Smith, as well as special nieces Stephanie (Frank) Merchant and Lauren White, along with many other nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews who will carry her memories forward through the generations.

Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Lottie Smith; sister, Nelda Fretwell; brother, Larry Curtis White; and spouses, Harvey Starr and Paul Griffin. The loss of these family members remains felt deeply within the fabric of her life.

Brenda Sue Starr will be remembered for her generosity, compassion, and the enduring love she extended to everyone around her. Her legacy of kindness, compassion, and joyful memories will forever be etched in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
