Carla Rae Gardner

February 8, 1977 — October 19, 2025

Carla Rae Gardner, 48, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025. Carla was taken to heaven after a long battle with multiple health conditions. She is preceded in death by revered father Douglas Gardner, beloved grandparents, Ethel and Ray Schouveller, Amy and Roger Gardner and Grace Albert. Carla is survived by her mother Madrene, her cherished daughter Soul [Carla], siblings Neil (Nicole), Amy (Dean), Stas (Vika), Julia (Russell), nieces Ashley, Emma, Marina, Nastya, Oksana and her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  Along with her spiritually adopted children Austin, Zack, Hughes, Zonal, Kiko, Gabby, Xavier, Deigo, Pheonix, Natalia, Joseph, Kat, Mono, Cody, Makayla, Tabs, and Caleb.

Carla spent almost a decade in the medical credentialing field until illness forced her departure. She was very proud of her committed efforts and passionate use of her skills to help further the quality of care in healthcare. She was active in her career at both the state and national level.  Having to leave her career, when finally being in a place to achieve her career goals, was exceptionally hard for Carla. She found solace in a strange place, video gaming.  She became a guiding voice to many children and a positive influence to those around her as she did her best to follow in Jesus’ footsteps.  The last years of Carla's life were the happiest she ever lived. In pain and suffering, God gave Carla unique insight and with acceptance that she would never be remotely “normal”.  Ultimately the Lord blessed her with immense joy and the knowledge that she would have the opportunity to reach her full potential in heaven.
