Charlotte “Faye” Harris, affectionately known as Faye Faye and Nanny Faye, was born on November 29, 1950, in Overton County, Tennessee. She graced this world with her kindness and warmth until her passing on June 22, 2025, in Pensacola, Florida. Her life was defined by an unwavering dedication to caring for others, a testament represented in her esteemed career as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Masters Nursing Home in Algood, TN, now known as Signature Healthcare. For many years, Faye devoted herself to the service of her community, bringing comfort and compassion to those in need.

Family was the cornerstone of Faye’s life, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. She found joy in the company of her family, reveling in the laughter and love that filled their gatherings, often fueled by shared memories and stories. Faye’s connections extended further as she opened her heart to her fiancé's family, embracing them with the same love she held for her own.

Though Faye’s physical presence may have faded, her spirit and the memories she cultivated remain vivid in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a strong lineage that continues to honor her legacy, including her beloved fiancé, John Bible of Lewisburg, TN. Cherished nieces and nephews: Wendy (Jonathan) Smith of Livingston, TN; Barry (Christie) Ferrell Livingston TN; Travis Ferrell, Livingston, TN; and Ricky (Christy) Hensley of Nashville, TN. She leaves behind a loving host of great-nieces and great-nephews. Her family also extends to her beloved fiancée family who will always be her family: Terry (Samantha) Bible, of Lewisburg TN, Beth Young, of Lewisburg TN, Tabatha Carter of Lewisburg TN, Charlotte (Ronnie) Hutto, Willis TX. She leaves behind a loving host of grandchildren and friends.

Faye is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Clarice (Crabtree) Vanover, along with her cherished sisters, Barbara “Bobbie” Ann Ferrell and Sammie Carol Hensley. They welcomed her with open arms, and their reunion brings comfort to all who mourn her loss.

In celebrating Faye Harris, we honor a life marked by love, care, and unforgettable memories. Her legacy of compassion lives on through the lives she touched.

At this time the family has chooses to honor wishes of Faye to be cremated and her remains placed with her mother and father so there will a Celebration of Life held at a later date. Family will update as soon as this information is available. At this time the family request prayers.
