Dante Julio Raffo Tassara

Dante Raffo Tassara, 82, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026, a meaningful date that coincided with his mother’s birthday. He was the devoted husband of Zully Regis, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, and a proud and deeply loving father to Renato Raffo and Fiorella Raffo.

Dante’s life was grounded in family, friendship, and the joy of bringing people together. Those who knew him will remember his humor, his generous spirit, and his unwavering kindness. He loved hosting gatherings at home, cheering on his favorite soccer teams, relaxing by the beach, and traveling to both Peru and Canada — two places that held special meaning in his heart.

Dante is survived by his beloved wife, Zully; his children, Renato and Fiorella; his brothers, Juan and Aldo; his daughter-in-law, Angie, and son-in-law, Greg; and his adored granddaughters, Isabel and Giulia, who brought him endless pride and joy. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his warmth, kindness, and the love he gave so freely.

A funeral service will be held on February 27, 2026, at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. Friends and family are invited to come together to honor Dante’s life and support one another during this time of loss. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, in memory of Dante—a cause close to his heart.
