Deborah will be remembered as a gifted artist whose creativity brought beauty and warmth to the world around her.

Deborah will be remembered as a gifted artist whose creativity brought beauty and warmth to the world around her. She made some of the most beautiful paintings, including a small sliver of tree trunk transformed by her hand into a scene of a tiny house, a bridge stretching across running water, and trees standing quietly in the background. She also took empty bottles and painted them with houses and nature scenes, turning simple objects into lasting works of art. Her talent was matched by the joy she found in sharing it, and those who knew her saw in her art both imagination and heart.

She was also known for her wonderful sense of humor and her easy way with people. Deborah knew how to talk to others and make them smile. She brought laughter wherever she went, whether she was singing along to a song or delivering a joke at just the right moment. Her presence was lively and comforting, and the happiness she gave so freely will be remembered with deep affection.

Deborah’s memory lives on in the hearts of her loved ones. She is survived by her daughter, Aubrey Wood, her sisters, Cindy Murphy, Pat Clubbs and her brother Bob Murphy, who carry forward the love, laughter, and creativity that shaped her life. She was preceded in death by her mother, Miriam Bordeaux; her father, Robert Murphy; and her son, Sean Eriksen. The bond she shared with her family remains an enduring part of her legacy.

Those who loved Deborah will remember not only the beauty she created with paint, but also the joy she created with her spirit. She leaves behind memories colored by laughter, kindness, and art, and she will be dearly missed.
