Debra Lynn Monteleone, fondly known as Debbie, was born on November 24, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois, where she began a journey filled with love, resilience, and dedication. She left this world on August 6, 2025, in Pensacola, Florida, after a brave battle with cancer.
In her lifetime, Debra worked in various fields, making significant contributions to the manufacturing and assembly of planes, retail, and management. Her work ethic was a reflection of her character; she took immense pride in her work and her personal growth. Debra's heart of gold and steel will made her a cherished presence in the lives of many. She was known for her sense of humor and her ability to create lasting memories with family and friends.
Debbie had so much love to give and shared it freely with those she trusted. She possessed a unique ability to hold onto love even in challenging times, demonstrating a spirit that faced difficulties head-on. She would often lift her chin and express her affection, no matter the circumstances.
Outside of her professional accomplishments, Debra enjoyed a rich personal life filled with hobbies and interests. She loved reading and engaging with her social media accounts, where she found joy in chatting with friends and family, sharing laughter, and connecting in meaningful ways. She often joked about her possible influence on the rise of social media influencers, enjoying the light-heartedness of it all.
Debra is survived by her beloved daughter Bernadette Monteleone and son-in-law Charles E. Lampkin, her granddaughter Chelsea K. Monteleone, her grandson Charles E. Lampkin, and her great-granddaughter Aurielle R. Boggan. She also leaves behind her brothers, Micheal S. Monteleone and family in California, Raymond T. Monteleone of Illinois, and Phillip Page of California, along with her sister Linda Godbille (Riley) also of California. Additionally, she is remembered by a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews who carry her spirit forward.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Michael F. and Betty Monteleone, and her grandparents, Salvatore and Dorothy Monteleone (neé Skerke) and Stephen and Tina Culloton.
Her legacy of love, laughter, and dedication to family will continue to resonate in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Debra Lynn Monteleone will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for the warmth she brought into the lives of all who knew her.
