IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Debra Anne
Vignolo
December 6, 1959 – February 7, 2026
Debra Anne Vignolo, born on December 6, 1959, in a world left enriched by her presence, departed from this life on February 7, 2026, in Pensacola, Florida. A beloved mother, cherished sister, and devoted daughter, Debra left behind a legacy that will forever echo in the hearts of her family and friends.
Debra was a vibrant force in the lives of those who knew her. She had a remarkable ability to transform the simplest experiences into treasured memories. She delighted in the little things—whether it was singing loudly along to her favorite songs in the car, with an endearing lack of concern for pitch, or embarking on spontaneous shopping trips to the mall and the dollar store, where she could always find joy in picking out something small. Beach days were a particular passion, leaving behind not just laughter and sunshine but also a trace of sand in every car she ever owned.
Her fondness for gardening, crafting, and creating with her hands illuminated her home and the lives of those around her. She found solace in the outdoors, and her love for nature was matched only by her playful spirit and memorable sense of humor. Debra had a way with words, able to tease and tell stories that would keep her family members laughing for years. Life with her was undoubtedly lively, imperfect, and full of character—a true reflection of who she was.
Although naturally reserved and private, Debra’s playful side came alive when surrounded by close family. Her stubborn nature often gave way to heartfelt passion when it mattered most, allowing her voice to emerge as a force to be reckoned with. She was fiercely protective of her loved ones, ensuring they felt the impact of her devotion. Always unapologetically herself, she was independent and strong-willed. Requests were often met with a “maybe,” or " we'll see" subtly asserting her own (possibly infinite) timeline.
Debra's pride in her family was boundless and loving. Her proudest accomplishment, without question, was her children—Antonia M Johanson (married to William), Joshua D Vignolo (married to Shannon), Nicole A Cotton (married to Chris), Jesse S Vignolo, Cheryl D Whalen (married to Kenny), and Robin J Vignolo. She celebrated their growth, accomplishments, and the individuals they became, ensuring they always knew their worth and significance in her life. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Arthur C Johanson, Joshua C Johanson, Lillian R Carroll, Malachi S Vignolo, Zoey I Cotton, Landon T Whalen, Audrina R Faulk, and Liam E Whalen, each carrying a piece of her legacy forward.
Debra leaves behind her loving mother, Antonia Reznicek, and her sister, Cheryl L Reznicek, who will continue to share their cherished memories and experiences with her. She was predeceased by her father, Marvin E Reznicek, and the father of her children, John D Vignolo.
As we remember Debra Anne Vignolo, we carry with us the gift of her spirit—a spirit that taught us the joy of simplicity, the value of laughter, and the importance of being oneself. Her life, lived with passion and sincerity, will continue to inspire and shape the lives of those she loved. She will be sorely missed, and remembered every day.
