She was a proud grandmother to Katelyn Callaway, Colton Deman, Braden Deman, and Camryn Deman, and a cherished great-grandmother to Zahra Vargas and Fiona Vargas. Dede’s beloved older sister, Caroline Gibson, her brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews also hold her memory close. Her love for her family was unwavering and will be carried on through the generations.

Dede was preceded in death by her parents, David Harris Goodwin and Dorothy Corbett Goodwin, whose guidance and love shaped the remarkable woman she became.
