Douglas William Spieler

Douglas William Spieler was born on August 2,1955, he departed this life on September 8, 2025. At the age of 70, at his home in Gulf Breeze, Florida. He was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey to William George and Joan Ruth(Koechling) Spieler. He studied and graduated from Shenendehowa High School in Clifton Park, New York, afterwards going to school for Dentistry then continuing life in the automotive industry. Doug was a very kind soul with the biggest heart. He brought laughter and love to those around him. His smile lit up a room and was contagious. 

He is survived by his loving wife Pam Spieler, daughter Jamie Herrera, son Shawn Spieler, grandsons Paxton and Kaden Herrera, brother and sister-in-law Eric and Rochelle Spieler, Brenna Surdahl Farley and Madi Surdahl who were like family. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Joan Spieler. Grandparents Joseph and Catherine Spieler and Walter and Ruth Koechling. 

Doug enjoyed going to the beach, fishing, all kinds of music, and he had a passion for all things cars.

Doug's compassion, kindness, laughter, and horrible jokes will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
