Dylan Craig Meadows, a cherished husband, father, son, brother, and friend, was born on August 17, 1995, and left this world far too soon on November 29, 2025, in Pensacola, Florida. His journey, though cut short, was filled with moments that encapsulated his kindness, generosity, and unyielding love for his family and friends.
Growing up, Dylan blossomed into a warm and outgoing individual, effortlessly making friends wherever he went. His genuine nature and kind spirit were repeatedly noted by those who knew him, as it was clear that his heart was as big as his aspirations. A proud graduate of Gulf Breeze High School, he furthered his education with a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) qualification and earned an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Pensacola State College. Dylan’s commitment to learning culminated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health, with a minor in Biology, from the University of West Florida. His aspirations flourished further when he was accepted into the Physicians Assistant program at the University of Florida, a testament to his dedication to helping others.
Dylan's artistic soul shone brightly in his hobbies. He found joy in drawing and poetry, and his passion for collecting art spoke to his appreciation for creativity. He held a special fondness for Legos, relished in the thrill of cars and motorcycles, a love he shared with his father. These interests mirrored the depth of his character, showcasing a man who embodied both passion and compassion.
Among his proudest accomplishments was marrying the love of his life, Lindsey Meadows, and embracing the role of a devoted stepfather to Parker and Adeline. This new chapter in his life brought him immense joy and satisfaction, and his love for his family was evident in everything he did. The bond he shared with them was profound, and he cherished every moment spent together.
Dylan is survived by his beloved wife, Lindsey; his stepchildren, Parker and Adeline; his father, Craig Meadows; his mother, Jeanne Meadows; and his brother, Cody Meadows. He is also remembered fondly by his grandmother-in-law, Jean Roberts Allen; his grandfather-in-law, Don Allen; his mother-in-law, Norma Jean Tolbert; and numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family members, including Paul Meadows, Marian Meadows, Laura Brown, Amy Brown, Bernie Brown, Carol Lockhart Pedersen, Dale Boettcher, and Kathy Barberi, Tony Barberi.
Though Dylan's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with threads of love, kindness, and artistic flair, he now joins his beloved grandparents—Dr. Paul M. Meadows, Carolyn H. Meadows, Flo Boettcher, and Richard F. Boettcher—who will welcome him into their eternal embrace.
As we remember Dylan, let us carry forward his legacy of warmth, kindness, and unwavering support for one another. His spirit will forever remain in our hearts, echoing the love he shared so freely during his time with us.
