A graduate of Wicksburg High School in 1976, Herman distinguished himself not only by his educational accomplishments but also by his boundless abilities. It was often said that he could do anything, a testament to his versatile skills and determination. Alongside his impressive capabilities, Herman was equally beloved for his ability to make people laugh, bringing joy and lightness wherever he went.

Herman’s personality was marked by a laid-back demeanor and a keen sense of humor, qualities that endeared him to all who knew him. His love for music and riding his motorcycle were sources of personal joy and freedom, embodying his adventurous spirit and zest for life. He was also an avid supporter of Alabama Football, a passion that connected him deeply to his roots and community.

He is survived by his four sons: Shaun, Roger, Russell, and Andrew, who carry forward his legacy. His grandsons, Caleb and Carson, bring a continuation of warmth and family pride. Herman’s brother Sammy, along with LeighAnn, and several nieces and nephews, remain a close-knit family circle, bound by shared memories and affection.

Herman was preceded in death by his father, Herman Hubbard, and his mother, Carmen (Vidal) Hubbard, as well as his sister Cheryl Smith. Their memories live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
