Jeffery Wayne Hollett, age 64, passed away peacefully in his home on August 20th, 2026. He was born on March 7, 1962, in St Louis Missouri. He was the beloved son of John and Jeanne Hollett.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Barb, and his brother Rick. He is survived by his children Jeanne Cotton and Corey Hollett, and by his sister Patt Hill. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Damien, Nathen, Autumn, and Wayne. As well as many friends who will miss him dearly.

He lived in Bonifay, FL with his dear friend Tyrone. They had many adventures together and there was never a dull moment in either of their lives and always another project they wanted to complete.

Jeff lived life in his own way, leaving behind plenty of memories and stories. Like all of us, his life was made up of many chapters, relationships, and moments that made him who he was. He was not meant to be remembered as a perfect person, but as a real one, with a life that mattered and people who loved him.

He was a father, a brother, a son, and the best friend anyone could ever ask for. He had the biggest heart and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He was also as stubborn as a mule but always willing to help and would come at a moment’s notice if you needed him.

Those who knew him will remember him not only for the years he was here, but for the moments that made him uniquely himself.

Grief is not simple. Losing someone you love leaves an emptiness that cannot simply be filled. There will be memories that bring smiles, memories that bring tears, and moments when his absence will be felt most deeply. It is in those moments that the memories we made with him are cherished most.

There is no perfect way to say goodbye to someone you love. Death changes things. It leaves questions, memories, unfinished conversations, and an empty place where someone used to be. His story has ended, but his memory has not. His life will continue through the stories told about him, the memories shared by those who knew him, and the people whose lives he touched.

Information on the date of his celebration of life will be sent to all those he held dear. His family looks forward to hearing some of the amazing stories that will be shared.
