Kenneth Lawrence Milhorn

Kenneth “Ken” Lawrence Milhorn, 83 , of Crestview Florida, passed away on April 26th, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Ken was born November 15th, 1942, in Johnson City, Tennessee, the son of Gene “Blue” Milhorn and Laverne Ballew (Adams).

Ken graduated from High School in 1960, then went on to college, earning a master’s degree in criminal science. Ken joined the Air Force in 1966, and served until honorably discharged in 1996, completing a 30 year career and receiving and honorable discharge. Ken achieved the rank of Chief Master Sergeant CMSgt (E-9). After ending his career in the Air Force, Ken worked as a Chief Mission Engineer for Northrop Grumman and successfully retired from the company in 2009, where he took great pride in negotiating contracts in an attempt to bring value to the company and the American tax payer.

Ken served in the Vietnam War and was awarded several commendations for performance of duty, as well as many other commendations during his tenure as active military. Ken and his family were stationed in many locations around the United States, including a few like Hickam Air Force Base in HI, Patrick Air Force Base in FL, and Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in NC.

Ken especially loved animals, hot rods and jeeps, golfing, and running. He completed the Honolulu Marathon in 1987. Ken always had cash on hand to give to his grandchildren whenever they would visit and do his best imitation of “Donald Duck” to make them laugh and smile. He loved tinkering around the house on projects, loved his tool collection, and always checking in on his kids and grandkids to make sure they didn't want for anything.

Remaining to cherish Ken’s memory are wife, Mun S Milhorn; children, Kenneth Casey Milhorn, Handy Ann Zabrocki, and Shasta Michelle Price; grandchildren, Jacob William Foster, Julianna Celeste Foster, Ella Dawn Milhorn, Jayla Victoria Milhorn, Tristan Zabrocki, Brandon Zabrocki, Preston Zabrocki, Sammy Myers, Kayla Kelly, Liam Kelly, Hannah Kelly, and Max Price.

Preceding Ken in death are Jennifer Dawn Milhorn; daughter. Gene “Blue” Milhorn and Laverne Ballew (Adams); parents.
