Kimberly Ann Pembleton (Kim Langman) 

Kim Langman-Pembleton, 56, originally from the city of Niagara Falls New York passed away peacefully at her home in Crestview Florida on August 6th, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

Born in Niagara Falls, Daughter of Larry Allen Langman and Betty Jane Gates Garlitz, Kim grew up in the Love Canal region and was evacuated at 8 years of age from the Love Canal which was the nation's first major environmental disaster of its kind to gain widespread national attention. It ultimately led directly to the creation of America's first Superfund program. Throughout adolescence Kim and her siblings loved to spend time outside the city, visiting her grandmothers cottage at Keuka Lake, in New York's Finger Lakes region during the summer and winter months. She raised 2 children: Whitney A. Jacobs and Brandon M. Jacobs but looked after many others with great love and deep compassion. She was always the brightest ray of light, even in the worst of situations.

Kim loved the simple things in life, simply enjoying watching the birds and the bees and discovering new insects and wildlife. It was always her belief to pay things forward, and to always be the example of compassion and respect. Kim loved her quiet mornings taking care of her chickens, as well as her "many" feral-fixed outdoor cats and indoor cats. Kim also had a special passion raising 3 German Shepherds and spending time with them. Kim could often be found sitting out on her front porch at her home with her beloved husband Michael enjoying the outdoor life or attending many Concert performances and music festivals, it was the little things made Kim smile. kim loved taking photos, so she left us many beautiful memories to remember her by. Kim was extremely down to earth and it was the simple things that made her happy; She truly wore her heart on her sleeve and was always looking out for those less fortunate.

Kim is survived by her Husband: Michael R Pembleton, Children: Whitney A. Jacobs and Brandon M. Jacobs, Brian M. Pembleton, April E. Pembleton, Zachariah A. Pembleton and Savanna L. Pembleton Brothers: Joseph Langman and Jimmy Langman Grandchildren: Grace, Myles, Paisley, Lucas, Ronan, Brandon Jr, Silas, Samuel and Sailor as well as many nieces and nephews, and other family members.

A Celebration of Life will be held April 2nd 2027 @ 2PM at the Tuscarora Indian Mission, 5035 Walmore Rd, Sanborn, NY 14132 All are welcome to come and celebrate her life and her blessings through the years.

In Lieu of Flowers we are asking to donate a tree if you would like, Kim loved the Southern Magnolia and the Common Crape Myrtle. The family is asking for donations to The Trees in Memory of Kim fund; via donations through Cash App- $TreesForKim,. and Michael and Zachariah will gather the trees and together they will plant them onto the Crestview Pembleton Estate to everlastingly honor Kim.

We want to thank the hospice nurses that came on the daily to visit Kim in her final days and want to give an especially warm thank you from a life-long friend of Michael Robert Pembleton; Paul Hubbard, for driving across the state of Florida, to surprise Kim when she was at the hospital, for being with Kim and Michael through such trying times and helping her find eternal peace after her battle with Metastatic Cancer.
