Mark Wendell Owen

Mark Wendell Owen, 63, of Pensacola, Florida, formerly of Smyrna, Georgia, passed away on Friday, April 17th, 2026.

Mark was born April 27th, 1962, in Smyrna, Georgia, the son of Clifton Dean Owen and Myrtle Mattleen Tumlin.

Remaining to cherish Mark’s memory are his child, Kelly Maria Owen; niece and nephew, Ambyr Lix and Shawn Thompson; and the mother of his child and friend, Doris Mills; and his many friends.

Preceding Mark in death are his parents, Clifton Dean Owen and Myrtle Mattleen Tumlin; brother, Tony James Owen; sisters, Donna Gail Owen and Temina Kate Owen; niece, Jessica Thompson; and his beloved pets, Maggie and Bear.

Mark loved animals, sportsmanship, his HVAC and construction work, his friends, his family, and God. He will be missed deeply by all those who love and have ever loved him.
