Obituary

Nancy Gladinus, née Lincourt, a cherished mother, sister, and devoted wife, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026, in Pensacola, Florida. Born on September 13, 1952, in Newport, Rhode Island, Nancy’s life was marked by warmth, dedication, and an enduring commitment to family and community.

She attended Boston College, where she cultivated the knowledge and skills that would guide her throughout her life. Nancy’s intellectual curiosity and steadfast spirit were evident to all who knew her, and these qualities remained with her until the very end.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Richard Gladinus, whose partnership was a source of constant strength and love. She is also remembered fondly by her children: Jill Wood and her husband Gabriel Wood, and Michael Gladinus. Their lives were deeply enriched by Nancy’s unwavering support and kindhearted nature.

She leaves behind three devoted sisters—Patricia Garcia, Barbara Pasqual, and Maureen Bradley—who shared countless memories and whose lives she touched profoundly. Their close bonds were a testament to Nancy’s generous and compassionate spirit.

The family also honors Nancy’s memory alongside those of her parents, Joseph Sullivan and Emma Lincourt, and her sisters Arleen Conley and Jean Ruggeri, all of whom preceded her in death. Their legacies were integral parts of Nancy’s story and the foundation upon which she built her own life.

Nancy’s passing is a profound loss to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be remembered for her kindness, her wisdom, and the deep love she cultivated within her family. Her legacy endures in the hearts of those she leaves behind, and her spirit will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to share in her life.
