Pamela Paxton Morin

Pamela Paxton Morin, born on February 27, 1949, in Corpus Christi, Texas, left this world on September 30, 2025, in Pensacola, Florida, surrounded by the love of her family. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and dedicated friend, whose legacy will forever resonate in the hearts of those she touched.

Pamela was the beloved daughter of the late John Paxton Sr. and Patricia Paxton. She was raised in a warm and loving environment that instilled in her the values of compassion, kindness, and resilience. The lessons she learned in her youth carried her through life's challenges and shaped her into the remarkable woman she became.

A devoted mother, Pamela is survived by her three children: Robert Perry Russell, Christopher Russell, and Tammy Patterson, as well as her daughters Barbara Patterson and Jennifer Francis. Her grandchildren—Eric Mobley, Garrett Patterson, Maddox Magill, Starr Magill, Adelaide Russell, and Rebecca Scott—were a source of immense pride and joy for her. Pamela embraced the role of grandmother wholeheartedly, creating lasting memories and imparting wisdom to the younger generations.

Pamela also cherished her relationships with her siblings: David Paxton, John (Johnny) Paxton, Patricia (Tricia) Burkham, and Elizabeth (Liz) Iles. Their strong bonds and shared experiences provided her with support and strength throughout her life.

Sadly, she was preceded in death by her son, Paul Patterson, whose memory she held close to her heart. The loss of Paul was profound, yet Pamela continued to nurture her family's connection, underscoring her dedication to love and unity.
