Ramon Paul Martell

It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Ramon, a cherished husband, father, son, and brother, who left us on March 8, 2026, following complications with his heart.

Born on August 21, 1978, in Fremont, California, Ramon was the beloved son of Jeffrey Martell and Michelle Vargas. His greatest pride and joy were his loving wife, Miriam, and their three daughters, Mina, Maya, and Mila. Their love and laughter filled his life with immeasurable happiness.

Ramon is survived by Miriam; his daughters; his devoted parents; his brothers, Nick and Jeffrey Martell; his sister-in-law, Laura; and his nephew, Dylan, whom he treasured as a son. He also touched the lives of many family members and friends who hold him dearly in their hearts.

A pillar of dedication and strength, Ramon honorably served in the military for nearly 24 years, from November 20, 1996, until November 30, 2020. Throughout his service, he was a mentor and a beacon of guidance and support to many. His warm presence could brighten any room, leaving an enduring impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Above all, Ramon treasured the time spent with his family, weaving moments filled with love, laughter, and connection that will be held close forever.

A memorial service with Military Honors will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, April 3, at Barrancas National Cemetery, Shelter B, where all are welcome to honor and remember a life so deeply loved.

Ramon will be profoundly missed, yet forever cherished in the hearts of those who loved him.
