Rex Alexander Dunham aka "Sexy Rexy", born August 20, 1955, in Mobile, Alabama, passed away on August 21, 2026, in Baker, Florida. Rex was surrounded by his loving wife and loved ones as he peacefully departed this world, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and devotion to family and friends.

Throughout his rich and varied life, Rex embraced every opportunity with dedication and hard work. He held many roles over the years, contributing his skills to Canvas Products in Mobile AL, Unique Fire Stop in Stix River AL, Cabinet Products in Mobile, AL, Stewart Kyser in Prichard, AL, as well as Shook and Fletcher as an insulator. Rex also lent his talents to Jett Ski Rentals in Pensacola, Florida, and at the Finn's Restaurant in Panama City, Fl also at Cash's Icehouse in Crestview, Fl. His work ethic was matched only by his generous spirit and unwavering support for those around him.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Rex was known for his exuberant love of life’s simple pleasures. An ardent fan of Alabama Football (“Roll Tide”) and the Pittsburgh Steelers, he found joy in the camaraderie of game days. His passion for Harley Davidson Motorcycles was well-known among friends and family. Rex cherished time outdoors, especially enjoying bonfires, cooking for loved ones, His mashed potatoes and his sweet potatoes pies will be sadly missed, fishing, and sitting around sharing stories with friends and family The 4 Horsemen (Rex, Harley, Buddy, and Manny) "Dilly Dilly ". These moments reflected Rex’s belief in the importance of connection and making memories with those who mattered most.

Rex's life was profoundly shaped by the people he loved and who loved him in return. He is survived by his beloved wife Joyce, his daughters Bonnie Barton, Crystal Horton, Amanda Dunham, and Shea Dunham, his stepsons Jonathan Schrank, Manfred Jackson (Casey) and Joshua Schrank, his stepdaughter Elizebeth Willams (Chris). And His sisters Sandra Spurlock and Susan Fife Henry (Clive) brothers Samuel Dunham III(Saeko)) Henry Dunham Sr., Thomas Westley Dunham (Lynnette) and John Dunham, father-in-law Samuel Jackson. Sister-in-law Dorinda Hixon (Buddy) Sister-in-law Kathy Field (Mike) Each of them carries forward a part of Rex’s compassionate spirit and steadfast kindness.

He was preceded in death by his father Samuel Edward Dunham Jr., his mother Lula Beatrice Flood Dunham, mother-in-law Margaret Elaine Walley Jackson, brother-in -law George Spurlock Jr, brother-in -law Donald M Fife and his nephew Harley Schrank. Rex’s memory will endure in their hearts, treasured for the joy and wisdom he brought into their lives.
