Robert Davis Broussard

Robert Davis Broussard of Tigerpoint, Florida passed away due to medical complications on May 12, 2026 at the age of 64 in Pensacola, Florida.

Robbie was born to Barbara Dean (nee Broussard) and Robert Russell Davis on December 6, 1961 in Houma, Louisiana as Robert Russell Davis Jr. In 1991 he changed his name to Robert Davis Broussard to better reflect his upbringing with the Broussard side of his family in Biloxi, Mississippi.

After graduating from Biloxi High School in 1980, Rob had many careers, hobbies and interests which took him all over the Gulf Coast and even to the U.S. Virgin Islands. He was an experienced executive chef, a left-handed black belt, dyslexic parrot head, woodworker, leather craftsman, hypnotist, an amateur stand-up comedian, the most wonderful father one could ever hope to have and was known for being helpful, kind hearted and determined.

He is survived by his two children: Jackson Broussard (married to Riko Broussard) of Seattle, WA and Jessica Broussard of Pensacola, FL - as well as their mother Angeline Black of Pensacola, FL and a large Cajun family along the Mississippi Gulf Coast area with many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his dedicated mother and his beloved grandmother, Wilda Marie Broussard.

A private memorial for family and close friends will be held on June 20 in Ocean Springs, MS.

Rob will be forever remembered and dearly missed by all who knew him well, now that he’s on to his next cosmic carnival ride.
