Stefanie Brewton age 96, passed away peacefully at home, Feb. 2, 2026 surrounded by family.

Stefanie was born Jan. 19, 1930 in Neustadt Germany. She moved to the United States with her husband and children in 1961. She was an avid artist and gardener who enjoyed reading and spending time with family and friends. 

Stefanie was preceded in death by her parents Stefan and Maria Koelble, her husband Bill Brewton, her daughter Carmen Jernigan, son in law Mitch Jernigan, sisters Gretel Knittel, Trudel Schnebelen, Franziska Simplet, and brother Stefan Keolble

Stefanie is survived by brother Adolph Koelble, her children Mickey (Frank) Worsham, Margie Woodson, Bill Brewton, Arty (karen) Brewton. Grand children Mitch Jernigan, Tina Cato, Michael Worsham, Jill Worsham, Nicole Hardy, Trina Hutchenson, Andrea peacock, Lexie Woodson, and Bill Brewton III.
