Susan Dobbs

Susan Elaine Dobbs passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025 at the age of 73. Susan was born December 18, 1951 in Pensacola, Florida, where she lived most of her life. For many years, Susan worked in the meat market at Delchamps. Susan was a member of the Scenic Hills Church of Christ.

For relaxation, a favorite pastime of Susan’s was to feed the seagulls at the beach and go fishing. Anyone that knew Susan would tell you she was an animal lover and a caregiver to her many cats and dogs over the years. She had a big heart for lost or abandoned animals and would feed any stray.

Susan is survived by her sister Julie; her nephews Jody and Butch; one niece, Lisa; a great-nephew, Justin; as well as two great-nieces, Jennifer and Kimberly. Susan will be remembered and greatly missed by other extended family members and friends.

Janet, Dustin, and Macey were so very helpful to Susan and are kindly thanked by the family.

At the family’s request, there will be no services at this time. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
