In Loving Memory of Tracy Diane DePriest
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Tracy Diane DePriest, who left this world peacefully on June 13, 2026, while receiving loving hospice care at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born on September 28, 1973, in Biloxi, Mississippi, Tracy was a beacon of light to everyone she encountered. She was known for her infectious laughter, generous spirit, and deeply caring nature.
Tracy was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Rolliegh and Mildred Edwards, whose memories she treasured throughout her life.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Bailey DePriest (Janessa), affectionately known as her “Monkey” and is the center of her universe. She also leaves behind her loving parents, Glenn and Strotha White, with whom she shared a close bond; her devoted sister, Melissa Nicholson; her cherished nephew, Jake Nicholson; and her dear niece, Emily Teague (Kevin).
A proud graduate of Milton High School, Tracy built a career defined by dedication, resilience, and hard work. She was a valued member of the Navy Federal Credit Union family, where she worked the night shift and brought her unique spark, unwavering commitment, and kindhearted nature to her colleagues and the members she served.
Outside of work, Tracy embraced life with enthusiasm and joy. She was a proud soccer mom whose happiest moments were often spent on the sidelines cheering for Bailey. The soccer field was more than a place to watch games; it was where Tracy shared encouragement, friendship, and support with players, families, and coaches alike. Her warmth touched everyone around her.
Tracy also had a special love for her dogs, who brought her endless companionship, comfort, and happiness throughout her life.
Those who knew Tracy will remember her radiant smile, quick wit, and ability to make others feel loved and valued. She was a source of laughter, strength, and unwavering kindness, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
During this difficult time, Tracy's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered support and words of comfort. Your kindness and compassion have provided strength and peace as they navigate this tremendous loss.
As we celebrate Tracy's life, we hold close the memories she gave us, the love she shared, the laughter she inspired, and the joy she brought into our lives. Though she may no longer walk beside us, her spirit will continue to shine brightly in our hearts, guiding us with the light of her love, her laughter, and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever remembered.
