Yvonne Hadley Mosburg

November 7, 1950 – March 1, 2026

Yvonne Hadley Mosburg, 75, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026.

Yvonne was born on November 7, 1950, in Houston, Texas, to Slyuce Lee Hadley, Sr. and Lois Wiederhold Hadley, both of whom preceded her in death. She grew up with strong Texas roots and later attended Sam Houston State University, where she earned her Master’s degree in Music.

Music and faith were meaningful parts of Yvonne’s life. She loved singing in the church choir and playing many musical instruments, with the piano and keyboard always being her favorites.

Over the years she attended several churches, including West 14th Baptist Church, St. James Lutheran Church, and later Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Houston, Texas, where she enjoyed worship, music, and fellowship.

Yvonne had a strong spirit and a protective heart when it came to the people she loved. She was known for speaking her mind, standing her ground, and caring deeply for her family. Above all, she was a devoted mother who did her best to look after those closest to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Slyuce Hadley, Sr. and Lois Hadley; her sister, Phyllis Hadley McMillan; her ex-husband, Ernest Warren; her husband, Stacy Mosburg; and her son, Jason Warren.

She is survived by her daughter, Amber McTier, and son-in-law Cory McTier; her sister, Brenda Reed; her brother, Slyuce Lee Hadley, Jr.; and several beloved grandchildren.

Those who knew Yvonne will remember her love of music, her strength, and the way she cared for her family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 14, 2026, at 12:00 PM in Onalaska, Texas. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate her life together.

After many years without sight, her family finds comfort in the promise that Yvonne now sees clearly in heaven and rests in eternal peace.
